Origin

This subspecies has been classified as endangered by the IUCN.

Panthera tigris corbetti is also called The Corbett Tiger, in honor of Jim Corbett.

The Malaysian Tigers were recently reclassified as a distinct subspecies of the Malaysian Tiger, Panthera tigris jacksoni.

Features Indochinese Tiger

Males have a length of 2.55-2.85 m and a weight of up to 195 kg. Females measure between 2.30-2.50 m, weighing up to 130 kg.

Breeding The Indochinese Tiger

No Indochinese Tigers have been seen in China since 2007, and the last specimen is believed to have been killed and eaten by a man sentenced to prison 12 years ago.
