Origin
Slugs or shellless snails are terrestrial slugs that are part of the family Limacidae, the genus Limax.
It can be found in orchards, forests, damp or swampy places.
It is considered harmful.

How to get rid of limax
The slug is considered a nocturnal pest. It can be combated with Optimol (an environmentally friendly substance) that kills the snail by poisoning.
Another way to get rid of slugs is a beer trap. A plate of beer is a sensation attraction for shellless snails. The Aroma of malt and hops drinks them and soon you find them drowned. Fill these traps with fresh beer because over time it loses its flavor.
The black plastic is coming at the slug slowly but surely. Place plastic wrap around the ends on the ground on hot days and snails that venture to cross it will die from heat and dehydration. Black foil is recommended, household bags can also be used.
Breeding Limax
Hatched chicks reach maturity after 2-3 months. Every year 2-3 generations of Cubs are born. It is a hermaphrodite species.
Breeding is done through eggs. Lays up to 600 eggs in piles of 20-30.
It passes winter in a hibernation until May when the temperature reaches 8 – 10 degrees.
