It is a terrestrial species with a defensive temperament. It is not a very large species, the average is 10-12 cm.
Terrarium
The dimensions of the terrarium differ depending on the size of the tarantula, but in the case of an adult tarantula a terrarium 25X15X20 cm (Wxwxh) is sufficient. Any substrate that retains moisture is good, coconut substrate, peat, vermiculite, etc.it is good to put in the terrarium twigs, pieces of wood, etc. to lay a base of the canvas mass to come. Humidity should be 60-70% and the optimum temperature is 20-25grc.
Venom
All species of tarantulas possess venom. Although it is not very potent, bites are never placute.De like any species of tarantula and pterinochilus chordatus can be unpredictable and a bite can occur at any time. For these reasons we recommend maximum attention when the tarantula is fed, moved or when its terrarium is cleaned.
It is not recommended to handle tarantulas, especially by those without experience.
