Origin
In winter they descend to lower heights.

Features rock Brumarita
The size of a lark. From a distance it seems to have a faded gray-brown color, almost like that of a Sparrow. The characters visible from a distance are: the dark stripe along the wing and the rust-brown spots on the flanks.
The color of the neck is visible only up close. Similar sexes. Quite strong, continuous cries, like those of larks: "trui-trui" (especially in flight) and like those of Thrush: "cep-cep".
The song is a melodious chirp, reminiscent of the voice of the lark. Sing from the ground or on a short nuptial flight.
It is a bird with a length of 18 cm, the female is smaller than the male. The body colour is grey with a whitish striated chin, with the flanks of the body with reddish spots. The beak is blackish. The legs are reddish-brown.
Rock Brumarita reproduction
Ponta starts at the end of May. The 4-5 eggs laid are fusiform, smooth, shiny, light blue in color. Incubation lasts 15 days, both partners hatch, two hatchings occur per year.
The chicks are covered with long, rare, light gray fluff; they have two black, oval dots at the base of the tongue.
They are cared for by both parents and leave the nest at about 16 days without being able to fly.
