Origin

This breed is descended from Asian Greyhounds such as Sloughi, brought from Spain by the moors. By crossing with the indigenous hunting dogs, this greyhound was used to hunt rabbits. Later the breed was improved by repeated selections and blood supply from the Greyhound, obtaining a dog with performance in running races. It was the favorite of the Spanish kings and used for hunting in packs.

Feeding the Spanish greyhound

Meals are as important to the Spanish greyhound as to any other dog. A healthy diet is seen in the activity and fur of the dog. The protein that your dog needs daily can be taken from meat, but this is not the only source of protein. Appearance Spanish greyhound
