Origin
There is no exact data on the origin of the breed, but it is one of the oldest breeds. It is also called the monkey dog because of its facial features.
It is believed to have its origins in Germany because Affenpinscher in German means monkey terrier and that in the beginning they were large dogs used for agricultural work. The Affenpinscher was miniaturized and became a pet in the 18th and 19th centuries.
He is still a ruthless mouse hunter and a reliable guard dog. Today the Affenpinscher is primarily a companion dog.
Food Bichon Frize
As you may know, every breed of dog has its own set of nutritional requirements. This set of requirements have been passed down from generation to generation just like the dog's coat, size and temperament.
I suggest Affenpinscher owners to feed their pets according to the dog's requirements. The diet should contain: nutritious foods similar to those found in nature, namely a balance of proteins, carbohydrates, acids, vitamins and minerals.
With a healthy dog diet, you can save money. The costs of the sick dog taken to a veterinary office are much higher than if we provide him with the right nutrition.
It is known that these puppies have a great appetite and tend to overeat. They can easily gain weight if they overdo it with food.
