Origin
The LaPerm cat breed is native to the United States of America. It was discovered by two farmers Linda and Richard Koehl when a cat gave birth to several puppies in Oregon.
At a closer look one of the Cubs had no hair at birth. In a short time on his body was noticed a soft curly fur. Over time, more and more kittens of this kind were born.
After a series of mating was established the breed that was recognized by the cat breeders association in 1995.
