LaPerm Cat

Origin
The LaPerm cat breed is native to the United States of America. It was discovered by two farmers Linda and Richard Koehl when a cat gave birth to several puppies in Oregon.
At a closer look one of the Cubs had no hair at birth. In a short time on his body was noticed a soft curly fur. Over time, more and more kittens of this kind were born.
After a series of mating was established the breed that was recognized by the cat breeders association in 1995.

Appearance LaPerm
LaPerm cat weighs 3-6 kg. It is a medium-sized cat. It has soft and curly fur and comes in various colors.
Even if it looks like a delicate cat has strong muscles and is sure of it.
The eyes are large and almond-shaped, the head triangular and the ears large and straight.
LaPerm Behavior
She is an active cat who likes to be the center of attention. He does various tricks in the presence of people.
No cat is completely hypoallergenic. Although not considered a hypoallergenic cat, it has very few allergens.
He is not a very active cat, but he likes to play with various small objects.
She does not vocalize or make noise, but she makes her presence felt when she wants food or caress.

Fur is easy to care for, it requires a weekly brushing to remove dead hair.

There are no known specific diseases, genetic or health problems in this breed.
There are no known allergies and there is no need for a special regimen. In order to have no surprises it is recommended to purchase puppies from breeders with pedigree.
